There is also a tendency on the part of the people themselves to settle the wedding events in simple ways instead of grand. Many people are taking the events even further.
many bookings canceled
Utsav Marriage Law in the capital Lucknow, Narendra Verma says that out of the total 12 bookings from January 23 to February, half have been canceled. Even in the marriages that are taking place, there will be no frills. If the booking for catering has decreased, then the decoration is also being reduced. Even in hotels, many of the weddings for which were booked are being canceled. Wedding planner Parth says that there is a fear among people that if Corona picks up pace in the coming time, the government may tighten the restrictions further. They say that due to the assessment of the slow pace of the epidemic in April-May, people are postponing marriage.
Many people left the work of playing the band

Prashant Kumar of Jaysoni Brass Band at Naka Chauraha in the capital says that many bandmates have left work after facing constant failure. The DJ had already spoiled the business and now the Corona restrictions have done their rightful job. Prashant says that bookings starting from minimum Rs 20000 are being done today for Rs 12000. By reducing the number of band members, somehow the cost has to be met.
January is bad
At the same time, Shankar, who works in catering, says that in November and December this year, it was felt that the business will come back at the old pace and the loss of two years may not be completely but some will be completed.
