New Delhi/Mumbai. According to a big news in the afternoon, now social activist Anna Hazare has raised objection against the Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray government allowing the sale of liquor in supermarkets and other shops on 14 February. has announced an indefinite hunger strike.

Significantly, social activist Anna Hazare recently wrote a ‘reminiscence letter’ to Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Saturday, 5 February. In it, Hazare had written that he would go on an ‘indefinite’ fast against the state government’s decision to sell liquor in supermarkets and roadside shops.
Along with this, Hazare had said that he had written the first letter to the Chief Minister opposing the excise policy on February 3, but he did not get any reply. He further said that, after this, he had to send a ‘reminiscence letter’ to remind the Chief Minister.
It is to be known that, the Maharashtra government recently took an important decision to allow the sale of liquor in supermarkets and grocery stores as well. On this, social activist Anna Hazare had further said, “I have decided to go on an indefinite fast against this decision. I had sent a letter to the Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister (Ajit Pawar) in this regard, but I have not received any reply till now.” Under this, Hazare will now sit on an indefinite hunger strike from February 14.
