Boston-area faculties and universities have boosted security patrols, briefly suspended mailroom operations and reminded folks to report any suspicious exercise, objects or packages after an explosion was reported at Northeastern University Tuesday.
Wentworth Institute of Technology, situated close to Northeastern’s campus, canceled labs and studios till 12 p.m. on Wednesday so these services could possibly be searched and secured.
“Wentworth is closely monitoring the situation at Northeastern and has added additional safety patrols to campus,” a spokesperson mentioned after asserting courses had been again on.
