A canine was deserted in a cage alongside a “heartbreaking” observe asking anybody: “Please feed and look after me.”
The younger male spaniel named Rudy, who has a leg deformity, was discovered by a member of the general public and rescued by the RSPCA.
Another canine, a black terrier, escaped from the cage and has gone lacking.
The two canine had been left by the aspect of a street in a damaged cage in Oxfordshire on 4 May.

RSPCA Inspector Stephanie Law from the animal welfare charity stated: “We were contacted by a member of the public who had found two dogs in a cage beside a road located between Northmoor and Stanford Harcourt.
“Alongside this canine, who has been named Rudy by the crew caring for him, was a second canine, a black terrier, who escaped out of the ramshackle cage when the member of the general public who discovered them tried to select it up.
“Unfortunately, we’ve been unable to locate the second dog and have notified the dog warden in the hope the dog is brought in as a stray.
“If anybody is aware of the place this canine is, or has any info on who deserted these poor canine, we would encourage them to contact us.”
Ms Law added: “It is really upsetting that these dogs have been abandoned alongside this note.
