Villagers agree after assurance
A few years ago, Dolar village under Dhakna forest zone was rehabilitated in the year 2018-19. Rehabilitation of this village was done with the wishes of the citizens in Titamba, Wagdoh, Tingarya and Kasmar. Rehabilitation of Pastalai village of Chikhaldara tehsil was done, in which house assessment was distributed to the villagers under 8-A proof of old house. On the other hand, the citizens of Dolar rehabilitated village were not yet paid the assessment under 8-A of their old houses.
That is why the citizens of the rehabilitated Dolar village made a request to the District Magistrate Pavneet Kaur, but due to the non-fulfillment of the demand, the villagers of Dolar finally sat down again in the rehabilitated Dolar village premises. Only Deputy Forest Conservator Sawant and Forest Range Officer Thackeray, after explaining to the rehabilitated citizens and giving assurances, the villagers returned. Dolar residents are now eyeing how the concerned senior administration resolves this serious matter.
