Pune. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Tuesday attached the assets of Varsha Raut, wife of senior Shiv Sena leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut. In this regard, Environment Minister Aditya Thackeray in the Government of Maharashtra has given his response. He has called the ED’s action not democratic but part of political vendetta.
Aditya said that the change is clearly visible in whatever is happening. There is no present atmosphere of democracy in the country, this is not a state environment, this is an atmosphere of repression. He said, Shiv Sena did not go with BJP, so these acts are going on, allegations are being made again and again. But if such threats start coming, is there any democracy left in the country? This needs to be considered. “The voters are facing open threats, so we need to think seriously about it,” he said.
