According to BMC, after 5,008 new cases of corona and 12 deaths in Mumbai in the last 24 hours, the total number of infected people has increased to 1,028,715. While the death toll has reached 16,512.

According to the BMC, out of the new patients found in Mumbai, 4,207 patients (84%) have been found to be asymptomatic, while 420 have been hospitalised. Out of which 88 have needed oxygen. At present, 2,041 patients are on oxygen in the city. At the same time, a total of 4,571 patients are being treated in the hospital. At present, there are 37,801 beds in Mumbai hospitals, of which 33,230 beds are vacant.
