Accident happened near Vela
Car number MH 32 AH 9553 from Wardha was going in the direction of Hinganghat, due to the loss of control of driver Swapnil Vijay Gokhale (40) in Vela premises, the car collided with a two wheeler number MH 32 Z 1227 coming from the opposite direction, after which it was coming from behind. Two wheeler no. MH 32 AD 4819 was also hit by the car, after which the car overturned and rammed into an electric pole adjacent to the road. Alka Suresh Kargaonkar (45), Sunita Bodile (40), Ishiza Khan (45), Krishna Dudhvade (56) and Devidas Kotkar (48) were injured in the accident, including the car driver Swapnil Gokhale, in which Alka Kargaonkar’s condition was critical and she was shifted to Sevagram. Other injured were sent to the hospital, treatment is going on at Hinganghat Upazila Hospital, all were said to be residents of Wardha.
