Gugghus: Police arrested 4 accused who robbed Rs 7700 at knife point from a truck driver going through Padoli road in Ambuja Cemet Company of Korpana tehsil after emptying the goods in Malegaon and seized goods worth Rs 53,900 from them. The court has sent the arrested 3 accused to police remand till February 13 after being produced in the court. At the same time, a minor has been handed over to his father.
According to the detailed information, on February 5, 4 accused stabbed the trucks by emptying the goods in Malegaon, truck number MH 34 BG 3342 and Ambuja Cement Company truck number MH 40 AK 0815 at 3 am near Dhanora toll naka of Ghugghus Chandrapur road. The truck drivers Dheeraj Virendraprasad Yadav (20) and Mahendra Kumar Premshankar Dubey were hit with an iron rod at the point and looted Rs 7700 kept in their pockets at knife point. Dheeraj Yadav had given its report to the Ghugghus police station. On this basis, the police registered a case under various sections and started the search for the accused.
Based on a tip-off, API Pusate and Crime Branch team started from Pardhi Beda in Gadchandur. Anurag Ratnappa Bhosale (48), resident of Samudrapur district Wardha, Jakki Gujayya Bhosale (23), Sinnu Kisan Pawar (40) resident of Pulgaon district Wardha near Vallabhnagar Colony railway station and a minor were arrested.
8 mobiles, 8 sharp knives, 2 scissors, axes, two seam cards and Rs 3700 cash worth Rs 53,900 have been confiscated from the accused. The police produced the four arrested accused in the court, from where all four have been sent to police remand till February 13. At the same time, the minor has been handed over to his father.
