For which the health department has arranged for 5 such independent vaccination centers in the city and 35 in rural areas. In the coming days, the vaccination centers will be increased as per the need. District Health Officer Dr. Dilip Ranmale gave such information.

Youth only dose of co-vaccine
Adolescents in the age group of 15 to 18 years are instructed to give only one dose of Co-vaccine. Due to which efforts are being made by the Health Department to make available the dose of co-vaccine in sufficient quantity. Independent vaccination centers are being earmarked for these people. From this point of view, the District Health Officer Dr. Dilip Ranmale gave information about the commencement of planning.
10 to Prescription Dose to Frontline Workers
Healthcare workers, frontline workers have taken both the doses, then they will be given preparation dose from January 10. It is necessary for such persons to complete 9 months or 39 weeks after taking the second dose. Sick persons 60 years of age and above are not required to show a certificate at the vaccination center while taking the prescription dose.
But he has been called upon to take the decision of taking the third dose as per the doctor’s advice. These vaccines will be free of cost at government vaccination centers. Those who want to get vaccinated at private immunization centers can get vaccinated at the pre-declared price by the central government.
Covin app hangs due to registration spree
Vaccination of adolescents is being started everywhere including the district. For which the health department is being advised to register on the Kovin app. But at present, the Kovin app is hanging for most of the time due to the competition of the youth for the registration of vaccination. Vaccination registration of youth has just started. Due to which the burden on the Kovin app has increased. In the coming days, the Kovin app will also work smoothly.
