At the same time, the number of deaths is also increasing. Meanwhile, according to the data released by the Health Department on Tuesday, 33,914 new cases of corona have been reported in the state in the last 24 hours. While 86 patients have died. At the same time, 13 new infections of Omicron have been found in the state. After the new cases in the state, the number of active patients has crossed three lakhs.
30,500 people became corona free
According to the Health Department, after 33,914 new cases and the death of 86 patients in the state, the number of infected has reached 75,69,425. At the same time, the death toll has gone up to 1,42,237. Apart from this, after 30,500 people became corona free, the number of people recovering has increased to 71,20,436.

Active patients cross three lakhs
At present, there are a total of 3,02,923 active patients in the state and all are undergoing treatment. At the same time, 16,20,371 corona patients are in home quarantine and 3,358 in institutional quarantine. The state recorded a recovery rate of 94.07% and a death rate of 1.87% today.

The new variant of Corona, Omicron, is spreading rapidly in Maharashtra. In the last 24 hours, 13 new cases of Omicron have been reported in the state and all these have been reported from BJ Medical College. Out of the new patients, 12 patients have been found in Pune city, while 1 patient has been found in Pimpri Chinchwad. So far 2,858 people have been affected by Omicron in the state and out of them 1,534 have been cured.
