Amravati. With the implementation of the new Vehicle Improvement Act 2019 from December 12, the city and rural traffic police have started levying penalties along with huge fines. In this sequence, within 2 days, the city traffic police has taken action against 309 drivers and recovered a fine of Rs 2 lakh 48 thousand 200.
Rule breakers banned
Due to the increase in the amount of fine, there is a fear of breaking the traffic rules among the drivers, due to which most of the people are seen following the rules. Under the leadership of in-charge traffic ACP Anil Kuralkar and PI Babarao Achaar, the East and West zones of the traffic have recovered the penalty under the new fine amount from the drivers who violated the rules within 2 days. A total fine of Rs 2 lakh 48 thousand 200 has been recovered within two days.
City Traffic Police Awareness Campaign
The new Vehicle Revised Act 2019 has been implemented from 12 December. The penalty is being charged on the basis of the increased amount of the challan. On the orders of CP Dr. Arti Singh, the city traffic police has prepared a road safety message chariot of traffic rules in order to create public awareness among the citizens about the increased fine amount under the said law.
In which public awareness is being made among the citizens about the violation of traffic rules and the increase in the fine amount through the traffic chariot. Information is being given to all the drivers through audio. Everyone is being appealed to strictly follow the traffic rules, otherwise fines will be levied under the new fine with a large amount.
