Mumbai: New variant of Corona in Mumbai In view of the danger of Omicron and increasing corona cases, BMC has made ten Jumbo Covid Centers fully prepared. Is done. BMC’s hands have swelled due to the arrival of more than 2 thousand cases in a day in Mumbai. With other variants of Corona, the cases of Omicron are also increasing. BMC had closed all except five Jumbo COVID centers after the patient shortage in Mumbai. Now after the onset of the third wave, the jambo centers are being remodeled.

Five Jumbo COVID centers were started
In the first week of December, BMC’s five Jumbo COVID centers were started at Worli-NSCI, Mulund, Byculla, Nesco Goregaon and Dahisar Checknaka, while COVID centers have been kept operational in some hospitals including major hospitals. Mumbai needs 690 MT of oxygen, while we have the capacity to supply 1124 MT, including all the oxygen plants, PSA plants, tanks and cylinders and refilling storage. The PSA plants are being directly connected to the beds so that there is no interruption in the supply of oxygen.
