Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana: The government had started the Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana to increase the income. On 10 September 2020 PM Narendra Modi had officially launched the Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana through video conferencing with the Union Minister and Minister of State for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying. Money allocated for 2020-2021 to 2024-2025. Rs 20,050 crore is to be spent by the government, out of which Rs 12,340 crore will be invested in marine, inland fisheries and aquaculture. At the same time, Rs 7710 crore will be invested for fisheries infrastructure.
