- Log in to your account and go to Profile tab and click on Personal details.
- After that enter the profile password.
- On clicking ‘Change Mobile Number-Domestic only (Through OTP/ATM/Contact Centre)’ a new screen will open with three tabs – Create Request, Cancel Request and Status.

- Three options will appear on the new screen – through OTP on both the mobile number, IRATA: Internet Banking request approval through ATM and Approval through contact center.

Verification through OTP on both the mobile numbers
- If you have both new and old mobile number then you choose the option of By OTP on both the mobile number and click on Proceed.
- Select the account for which you have a debit card.
- A page will open showing the details of all the inactive and active ATM cards linked to the account. Confirm by selecting the ATM card that is currently active here.
- The selected ATM card number will appear on the next screen. Fill the details of the card including PIN, fill the given text in a text box in the prescribed box and click on Proceed.
- OTP will be sent to both old and new numbers.
- After this SMS ACTIVATE <8 digit OTP> <13 digit reference number> to 567676 within four hours from both the mobile numbers. For example, SMS ACTIVATE 12345678 UM12051500123 to 567676.
- The new mobile number will be activated.

IRATA: Internet Banking Request Approval through ATM
- If you have clicked on IRATA: Internet Banking Request Approval through ATM, then click on Proceed.
- Select the account for which you have a debit card and click on proceed.
- The page will be redirected to the SBI ATM card validation screen. Here all the ATM cards linked to the account will be shown even if they are inactive.
- Select the activated ATM card and click on confirm.
- The selected ATM card number will appear on the next screen.
- Fill the card details including PIN, fill the given text in a text box in the prescribed box and click on Proceed.
- After successful validation, the screen will show that the mobile number has been registered but the request is still pending. An SMS will also come containing the reference number.
- Now swipe your card by visiting the nearest State Bank Group ATM and select the Services tab and enter the PIN.
- Select the ‘Others’ tab and click on ‘Internet Banking Request Approval’.
- Enter the 10 digit reference number.
- After the completion of the process, the request for change in mobile number will be completed. A message related to this will be received on the mobile.

- If you want to see the status of your request or want to cancel it, then log in to your SBI account for this.
- Go to Profile tab and click on Personal Details.
- Enter profile password. Here the name, e-mail id and mobile number registered in Internet Banking will be displayed.
- Click on ‘Change Mobile Number-Domestic only (Through OTP/ATM/Contact Centre)’.
