Alaska Airlines has introduced plans to launch three new coast-to-coast routes linking main cities with in style trip locations forward of the vacation season.
The provider will fly nonstop between Portland and Miami starting November 17 and join Palm Springs and New York (JFK) and San Luis Obispo and Las Vegas with nonstop flights beginning on December 14.
Portland-Miami service will function every day, year-round whereas Palm Springs-New York can be seasonal.
“We believe our guests are going to love these new nonstops. We continue to see strong demand by travelers who want to go to leisure destinations and are already planning trips for next year,” mentioned Kirsten Amrine, vp of income administration and community planning for Alaska Airlines, in an announcement.
“We’re especially excited to launch a new coast-to-coast route in Portland, which is a key hub for us. Miami is the largest underserved city from Portland and vice versa, so plenty of flyers are ready to travel between the Rose City and South Florida.”
The announcement comes as Alaska begins new every day nonstop service between San Diego and Washington, D.C. (IAD) and Eugene, Oregon on Thursday. The airline can even begin every day nonstop service between San Diego and Tampa on October 5, ultimately flying to 35 nonstop locations from San Diego.
