It is being said that Ukraine is planning to reward those who have helped it in the form of crypto funds. It is believed that the Peaceful World token is that reward. However, no official information has been given on the Ukrainian side yet.
A CoinDesk report states that Ukraine’s official crypto donation wallet has transferred nearly one million Peaceful World tokens to a wallet that uses them to seed a liquidity pool on Uniswap. Uniswap is a decentralized exchange. It allows users to buy and sell cryptocurrencies without any middleman.
Uniswap was recently praised by Ukraine’s Deputy Prime Minister Mykhailo Fedorov for offering a feature that made it easy to swap Ether for other cryptocurrencies and donate funds directly to Ukraine. In the past few days, Ukraine has received more than $ 35 million (about Rs 265 crore) as crypto donation, appealing to support its citizens and soldiers.
On the one hand, Ukraine is accepting crypto, while Russia is unlikely to do so. Crypto is a strong trend in Russia, but some experts believe that the argument that Russia is using cryptocurrencies to deal with sanctions is ‘unfounded’.
