According to the police, the web site of the Institute of Science, Nagpur was discovered hacked on Sunday. The hackers recognized themselves as ‘DragonForce Malaysia’ whose message on the institute’s residence web page learn that ‘it’s a particular operation on the insult of our Prophet Mohammad.
“The home page of the website carried a message in which people were urged to unite and start a campaign against India. The website was hacked through a malware. The hackers identified themselves as ‘DragonForce Malaysia’,” Nitin Phatangare, police inspector (Cyber) stated.
The restoration work of the web site is happening, they stated.
The message posted on the web site’s residence web page learn: “It is a special operation on the insult of our Prophet Mohammad. We witnessed that you guys had abused Muslim people publicly,” Police have launched an investigation, the official stated.
“A similar case was reported in Mumbai on Saturday. Since then, we were on alert,” Phatangare added.
The hacking of the web site occurred amid protests in components of the nation over the objectionable remarks made on Prophet Mohammad by now-suspended Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) spokesperson Nupur Sharma and expelled occasion chief Naveen Kumar Jindal. Several nations, together with Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Indonesia, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Jordan, Bahrain, Maldives, Malaysia, Oman, Iraq and Libya, have denounced their feedback.
