The Jammu and Kashmir administration and Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Jammu have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on Monday to collaboratively work on capability constructing of the knowledge expertise infrastructure and e-services, officers stated.
The MoU was signed by Prema Puri, Commissioner-Secretary to the federal government, data expertise division, and Manoj Singh Gaur, professor, director, IIT-Jammu, within the presence of Lieutenant Governor (LG) Manoj Sinha, on the Raj Bhavan.
According to the LG, the partnership goals to create a centre of experience and excellence in the direction of design, improvement of tasks associated to software program companies, cyber-security, capability constructing for cyber compliances and IT insurance policies.
The settlement additionally goals to pave the way in which for growing and organising hackathons for expertise hunt, apart from incubation of startups within the Union Territory, he added.
