DU 2021 Admission: Delhi University (DU) on Saturday announced that admission for the academic session 2021-22 will be on the basis of merit based on cut-off marks like last year. The registration for admission to undergraduate courses will start from August 2. The last date of application will be August 31. For post graduate courses, forms can be filled from July 26 to August 21.

Like last year, this year too, from registration to fee payment, the entire process of admission will be online. For this, DU had said that it intends to take admission on the basis of cut-off marks, but if the Central Universities Common Entrance Test starts from this year, it is committed to implement it. However, the Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) will not be applicable this year.

Certificate valid up to four years
Forms can be filled for post graduate courses of Delhi University from 26 July to 21 August. Forms will also be filled for M Phil and PhD from 26 July to 21 August. There will be no change in the registration fee for merit based and admission based admission. All departments will use the same registration-cum-application form for college admissions. Candidates do not need to fill any other form. For postgraduate courses also candidates will have to fill a registration form, but opting for more than one program will have to pay a separate registration fee.
Rajeev Gupta, Admission Chairperson at Delhi University said that a change has been made this year. Till last year, candidates had the option to upload only the previous year’s certificates. But this year the certificates for the last four years (from 1 May 2017 to 30 April 20210) will be valid.
