Train drivers at 9 rail corporations will strike on 13 August, the Aslef union has introduced.
A separate walkout by drivers at seven rail operators is already deliberate for this Saturday.
Both strikes will have an effect on Chiltern, LNER, Northern, TransPennine Express, Arriva Rail London, Great Western, Southeastern and West Midlands Trains.
Avanti West Coast and Cross Country is not going to participate on Saturday however have now determined to take industrial motion in August.
Aslef stated practice corporations had did not make a pay supply that may maintain tempo with rising residing prices.

He said strikes were a “final resort” but “we have been pressured into this place by the businesses, who say they’ve been pushed to this by the Tory authorities”.
He added: “Let’s nail a Tory lie. Wage rises aren’t fuelling inflation.
“Excess profiteering is. But the government isn’t asking companies to cut profits or dividend payments to help manage inflation. Wages are chasing prices, not putting them up.
“We do not see why we must always forego a rise in wage to maintain tempo with inflation and assist the privatised practice corporations make even larger income to ship overseas.”
Train drivers at Chiltern, Northern and TransPennine Express have till 25 August to vote on additional strike motion, whereas these at East Midlands Railway have till 19 September.
Strikes on Wednesday by 40,000 rail staff within the RMT and TSSA unions pressured about half of the community to shut.
Two additional days of rail strikes have already been introduced by the RMT for 18 and 20 August, whereas a Tube strike is ready to have an effect on London on 19 August.
