The RMT has obtained an “updated offer” from rail firms in a bid to finish strike motion in its long-running dispute over pay and circumstances.
A spokesperson for the union mentioned it might contemplate the brand new phrases put ahead by the Rail Delivery Group, which represents 14 operators, and confused no determination had but been taken.
It comes after the RMT final month suspended plans for walkouts on 30 March and 1 April following progress in talks.
A separate dispute between RMT staff at Network Rail was resolved in March after members voted to just accept a revised pay supply.
The long-running row has seen the largest industrial motion on the railways because the Nineteen Eighties, with common strikes and disruption since final June.
An RMT spokesperson mentioned: “We have received an updated offer from the Rail Delivery Group and our National Executive Committee is considering its contents.
“No determination on any subsequent steps has been taken.”

A spokesperson for the Rail Delivery Group mentioned: “Following further constructive joint discussions with the RMT leadership we have put forward a fair revised offer which makes important clarifications and reassurances, in particular around job terms and conditions for our employees.”
They added: “Our hope is that the RMT executive will put this proposal to its full train operating company membership and allow them a say on the deal, so we can end this dispute”.
It comes as talks proceed between rail bosses and ASLEF, the prepare drivers union, to resolve the same dispute. The union at the moment has no future strike dates pencilled in.
Members of the TSSA union accepted a suggestion in February, whereas Unite members working in Network Rail management rooms additionally agreed to a brand new deal in December.
