Maharashtra State Power Generation Company will form an Equal Joint Venture with NTPC to set up an Ultra Mega Solar Park in Maharashtra with a generating capacity of 2500 MW. The joint venture will develop a 2500 MW Ultramega Renewable Solar Park in Maharashtra.
Larsen & Toubro
Larsen & Toubro has informed the stock exchange that it has received a letter from the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) seeking information and documents for the period 2003 to 2008. The company said that this letter does not mention any governance lapses related to the company.
Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy
Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy reported a loss of Rs 126.61 crore for the quarter ended March 2022, lower than a loss of Rs 344.80 crore in the same period last year. Revenue declined from Rs 1,364.5 crore to Rs 1,071 crore during the same period. The loss in FY22 stood at Rs 916 crore, while revenue stood at Rs 5,081 crore during this period.
Tata Steel
Tata Steel Mining Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Steel, will now acquire debt-ridden Rohit Ferro-Tech after the NCLT approves the resolution plan.

The board of the company has approved the appointment of Sameer Dhir as the CEO of the company with effect from 8th April 2022. Sreekar Reddy is voluntarily stepping down as CEO, although he will continue as the Managing Director of the company.
Cholamandalam Investment and Finance Company
Cholamandalam Investment and Finance Company has informed in a BSE filing that the disbursement for Q4FY22 was around Rs 12,718 crore, as against Rs 8,071 crore in the same period last fiscal. That is, there was a growth of 58 percent in it. Collection efficiency on billing improved and stood at 138 per cent in Q4FY22. It was 120 per cent in the same period a year ago.

IT giants Infosys and Rolls-Royce have enhanced strategic collaboration with the launch of the joint ‘Aerospace Engineering and Digital Innovation Centre’ in Bengaluru. The center will provide integrated high end Research and Development (R&D) services with advanced digital capabilities for Rolls-Royce’s engineering and group business services from India.
Sobha
The company has achieved a sales volume of 1.34 million sq ft for the super built-up area for the quarter ended March 2022. At the same time, in this quarter, the highest ever realization has been achieved 110.9.6 crore. Average realization per sq ft stood at Rs.8265 crore during Q4FY22 as compared to Rs.8014 crore in Q4FY21.

Rail Vikas Nigam has signed a contract with ICF. This contract has been done for the construction and acquisition of metro coaches as per the Communication Based Train Control System for the Kolkata Metro Railway project.
