The central bank RBI launched UPI ‘123PAY’ last week and now Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) has become the first company in the country to offer this facility to its customers. BPCL, a member of Maharatna and Fortune’s Global 500, has partnered with Ultracash Tech.

In such a situation, with the help of UPI123Pay, users will be able to make UPI payments from feature phones as well. Except ‘Scan and Pay’, all types of transactions can be done from it. To use this facility, users will have to link their mobile number and bank account. RBI believes that with the introduction of UPI facility for feature phones, the use of digital payments in villages will increase and access to financial services will increase.
