Golden Chariot Train: IRCTC, the online ticket booking arm of Indian Railways, once again started the services of its luxury train Golden Chariot.
Now get ready to travel like a king in the South Indian states. From today, IRCTC’s luxury train ‘Golden Chariot’ once again started running on the tracks. The Pride of Karnataka – On March 14, the first train started from Yeshwantpur Bangalore railway station for a 6-night-7-day tour.
Starting from Bengaluru, it will return to Bangalore covering Bandipur National Park, Mysore, Hallebid, Chikkamagaluru, Hampi, Aihole, Pattadakal, Goa. It will also include a visit to UNESCO World Heritage Sites of the ruins of Badami Caves, Pattadakal Temples and Hampi Mahal and will end in Bengaluru.
Guests will be taken around the sites in AC-buses and will be provided with the best food and the best liquor while on the train.
Apart from Pride of Karnataka, the online ticket booking arm of Indian Railways has also planned another tour package – The Jewels of South India, which will start its first journey from next Sunday. .
Every guest carriage has twin and double mikes cabins such as it has 13 double bed cabins and 30 twin bed cabins and 1 cabin is also for the differently abled.
