The MG ZS EV can travel up to 340 km on a single charge and can achieve 0-100 kmph speed in just 8.5 seconds. The MG ZS EV’s electric motor generates 141 hp power and a peak torque of 353 Nm. The battery pack is 44.5 kWh, which can be charged up to 80 percent within 40 minutes with a 50 kW fast charger. The 7 kW charger gives the MG ZS EV full charge within 7 hours.
Tata Nexon EV
Tata Motors launched its electric Nexon in India in February 2020. The new Ziptron technology has been used in this electric car. The Nexon EV is powered by a 30.2kWh Lithium Ion IP67 rated battery. This electric car can reach 0-60kmph in 4.6 seconds and 0-100kmph in less than 10 seconds. The electric motor of the electric car is capable of generating 129hp power and 254Nm peak torque. The Nexon EV can travel up to 312 km on a single charge. Fast charging is also available in it. The Nexon EV 50 kW DC fast charger charges up to 80 percent within an hour. With the help of the standard 3.3 kW home charger, it takes 7-8 hours to full charge. The ex-showroom price of this electric car starts from Rs. 13.99 lakhs.
Mercedes-Benz EQC
The Mercedes-Benz EQC was launched in India in October this year. Its current ex-showroom price is 99.30 lakh rupees. This introductory price is for the first 50 units of the electric SUV. The Mercedes-Benz EQC is powered by an 80 kWh lithium ion battery pack. When fully charged, the car can cover a distance of 445-471 km. The SUV has two electric motors. The combined output of both is 408hp. The car can hold a speed of 0-100 km / hr in just 5.1 seconds and the top speed is 180kmph. The Mercedes-Benz EQC batteries take 21 hours to fully charge using the standard 15A domestic power supply. But with the help of 7.5kW wall box charger, the car is fully charged in less than 10 hours. With the help of 110kW DC fast charger, it is fully charged in only 90 minutes.
