TVS Motor Company launched the 2021 TVS Star City Plus commuter motorcycle with a new dual tune color which is in Pearl Blue-Silver. TVS says that the new color will be available on both disc and drum variants of the motorcycle.
Star City Plus prices start at Rs 65,865 (ex-showroom, Delhi) with the new color. The 2021 TVS Star City Plus was launched earlier this month with TVS’s ET-Fi technology (EcoTrust Fuel Injection), which is said to give 15 percent better fuel consumption. It also has LED headlight and USB mobile charger. According to TVS, Star City Plus has a customer base of over 3 million, and is able to achieve a 15-year legacy of fan models following the model.

- The TVS Star City Plus runs on a 110 cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine that gives 8.08 bhp of power at 7,350 rpm and 8.7 Nm of peak torque at 4,500 rpm.
- The Star City Plus claims to have a maximum speed of 90 kmph and comes with a 4-speed transmission.
- Suspension duty is controlled with telescope front fork and 5-phase adjustable rear shock.
- The bike runs on 17-inch wheels with tubeless tires.
- Along with a detailed series of color options, fuel efficient engine and low curb weight, the TVS Star City Plus is a great value-for-money, entry-level commuter motorcycle.
Secondly, the company has recently announced the appointment of former Jaguar Land Rover CEO Sir Ralph Speth to its board of directors. According to a statement by TVS, the icon of the global automotive industry, Professor Sir Ralph Spieth, has been appointed for the future planning. Vinoo Srinivasan, chairman of TVS Motor Company, which built the company in 1980, is among the top 5 global manufacturers of two- and three-wheelers.
Before that, TVS Motor Company launched 2021 variants of its motorcycle model Apache RTR 160 4V. Its ex-showroom price in Delhi is Rs 1,07,270. This model with 159.7 cc single-cylinder engine will be available in two variants. Its disc brake variants have been priced at Rs 1,10,320 and drum brake variants have been priced at Rs 1,07,270.
