A video related to this has been uploaded by Samsung on its YouTube channel. It talks about Samsung DDR5-7200 module technology. The company’s layer stacking memory packing technology has been improved upon in this new 512GB DDR5 RAM module technology. It is worth noting that this technology is also being used in the latest DDR4 memory modules.
Samsung claims that its DDR5 technology is twice as fast as the previous generation and can deliver speeds of over 6400Mbps. The company also says that due to better performance, it will not have any effect on electricity. The reason for this is that DDR5 technology is 30 percent more power efficient than the previous generation. In this way DDR5 RAM consumes less power. The company has said that it will supply this RAM to data centers as well as to smartphone and laptop manufacturers. For users, it can come with a top capacity of 64GB. No information has been given about when its mass production will start. It is believed that by the year 2023 or 2024, it will hit the market.
Talking about the company’s latest smartphones, Samsung has launched its latest smartphone Samsung Galaxy M33 5G in India. It comes with a 120Hz refresh rate display and is powered by a 5 nanometer octa-core Exynos processor. The phone has up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. Equipped with a 50-megapixel main sensor, this phone has a quad-camera setup. It comes with a variety of preloaded modes along with object eraser feature and bokeh mode.
