Three folks have died, and a lady and 4 youngsters have been injured in a highway crash in County Tyrone.
Two automobiles collided in Dungannon Road, near Cookstown, on Boxing Day afternoon.
Two fast response paramedics, 4 emergency crews and an air ambulance have been referred to as to the scene.
The drivers of the 2 automobiles concerned within the crash – a lady in her 80s and a person in his 20s – and a passenger in one of many automobiles – a lady in her 50s – died within the incident, police have confirmed.
Four youngsters and a lady aged in her 20s have been taken to hospital following the smash at round 3.30pm on Boxing Day.
A spokesman for the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS) mentioned: “Following assessment and initial treatment at the scene, four patients were taken to Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children and another patient was taken by ambulance to the Royal Victoria Hospital.”
Police say the Dungannon Road stays closed.

SDLP Mid Ulster MLA Patsy McGlone mentioned: “The community is devastated this evening following news of a fatal collision on the Dungannon Road.
