    The country’s largest car manufacturer Maruti Suzuki has released the sales figures in November. Maruti Suzuki’s total sales in November stood at 1,53,223 units, which is 1.7 percent higher than in November last year. In this total sales, domestic sales stood at 1,38,956 units and 5,263 units of other OEMs. OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) means that the company has manufactured components for other companies. Apart from this, the company exported 9004 units last month.

    Exports increase more than domestic sales

    According to the press release issued by the company, in November last year, it sold 1,50,630 units. It had domestic sales of 1,43,686 units and the company exported 6,944 units. In this way, Maruti Suzuki not only sold more in the domestic market this year, but its export sales also increased. Domestic sales were up 0.4 percent in November this year compared to November last year, but exports grew 29.7 percent.

    22.9 percent drop in April to November

    If we talk about April to November in the current financial year, there was a huge decline in the total sales figures. Between April and November this year, 8,05,400 units were sold whereas in the same period last year 10,44,976 units were sold. This time, between April and November, the total sales fell by 22.9 percent over the previous year. For some time this year, Lockadine stalled production due to the Corona epidemic.

    Mid-size Ciaz sales increase

    When compared to November last year, this time in November, the sales of mid-size Ciaz increased by 29.1 percent. Last month, 1870 Ciaz was sold. Last month, sales of mini vehicles like Alto, S-Preso were down 15.1 percent and sales of compact vehicles like WagonOr, Swift, Celerio, Ignis, Baleno, Dzire and Tour-S declined by 1.8 percent in November last year. In November this year, a total of 1,00,839 passenger cars were sold, which is 4.7 percent lower than in November last year.
    Sales of vans like Omni and Eeco rose 10 per cent to 11,183 units last month, while utility vehicles such as Gypsy, Ertiga, Vitara, Brezza, XL6 and S-Cross increased 2.4 per cent to 23,753 units.

    MD Motor India records record retail sales

    MG Motor India released the November sales figures on Tuesday. Accordingly, he made record sales last month. The company sold 4163 units last month, a 28.5 percent increase over November last year. This is the highest ever retail sales figure for the company. This company is owned by SAIC Motor Corporation of China. This includes the sale of 3426 units of Hector, 627 units of Gloster and 110 units of ZS EV.

    50% increase in Sonnet sales
