Hyundai Alcazar is all set to launch in India today and reveal the price. The company is preparing its first three-row SUV for the Indian market. The 6-seater SUV will get captain seats in the middle row with excellent storage space, cupholders and even charging points. In the seven-seat layout, the middle row gets bench seats with foldable armrests.
Company officials say that the Alcazar is primarily for those who are looking for a premium SUV that has a lot of space, but that also offers a lot of features and a lot of features. If the customers of Creta also want to upgrade, then they can choose it. In recent times, the discussion about three-row SUVs has been increasing. While the likes of Triber and Ertiga are present in the MPV space – the price spectrum is dominated by the likes of Fortuner and Endeavor on the other. Then there are the luxury SUVs too.
Alcazar Engine Options
Hyundai is offering the Alcazar with a 2.0-litre petrol engine that produces 152 hp and 191 Nm of torque. Apart from this, there is also a 1.5-liter diesel engine with 115 hp power and 250 Nm of torque. Both the engine options will be mated to a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic gearbox.
The Alcazar has been designed keeping in mind the Indian market. It is no surprise that the vehicle is being launched in India first and will later make way for select overseas markets from here. The Alcazar is based on the Creta which means it shares some similarities with the mid-size SUV.
