The company has set a target of selling 15 lakh automobile units this year. Also, BYD says that if the supply chain improves in the coming few months, then this figure can go up to 20 lakh units. According to a report by ITHome, the demand for the company’s Han DM-i based electric vehicles has increased tremendously after its launch in the market.
Regarding Han DM-i based electric vehicles, the company has said that their sales can go beyond 30 thousand units per month. This automotive manufacturer, which has made a hold on the global level, believes that the sharp jump in the prices of raw materials recently, is now slowly going down. If lithium carbonate prices remain at the same level, the supply chain woes this year will not have a significant impact on the sales of its upcoming energy vehicles. This year the manufacturing rate of the company’s new energy vehicles can go up to 35 percent or even 40 percent.
The company has started selling its DM-i based electric vehicles in other countries as well. The company has already shipped 500 units to Colombia. It is counted as one of the main trading areas of the company. There is a huge demand for the company’s vehicles in China, along with it has now started exporting to other small countries as well. This means that in 2022, the company can make a lot of growth in the field of electric vehicles manufacturing.
