The new Tata Altroz will get a dual-clutch automatic gearbox. The company has named the dual clutch automatic version of the car as Tata Altroz DCA.
Tata Altroz: India’s car maker Tata Motors has started taking bookings for the DCA (Dual Clutch Automatic) version of its premium hatchback car Altroz. This car can be booked by paying a token amount of Rs 21 thousand. The new Tata Altroz will get a dual-clutch automatic gearbox. However, it will only be available with the 1.2L naturally aspirated petrol motor. Tata Motors claims that the Tata Altroz DCA feature has been designed to improve driving in India. You can book it by contacting the nearest authorized dealership of the company. The delivery of the car will start from this month itself.

Also, the option of an automatic gearbox in the Altroz DCA will be available only on the higher trims – XT, XZ, and XZ+. Also, the Dark Edition will also be sold along with the new transmission unit. However, the 1.2-litre turbo-petrol motor and 1.5-litre oil burner will continue with the 5-speed manual gearbox.
