Ranchi : Chief Minister Hemant Soren has issued a notice to the ration card holder families in the state who have bikes, scooties and other two wheelers in the state from 26 January 2022, but due to the cost of petrol. To implement the scheme of giving a discount of Rs 25 per liter on the purchase of petrol to those who are not able to fill it, did a high level review of the work progress. The Chief Minister told the officials that the poor, laborers, farmers and middle class families have been affected the most due to the increase in the price of petrol.
It is the effort of the state government that the poor, laborers, farmers and middle class people in Jharkhand should be given relief from the rising inflation of petrol. The Chief Minister directed the officials that all the departments concerned should develop a mechanism soon after making better coordination, so that we can give discount on the purchase of petrol to the eligible people from January 26. State Chief Secretary Sukhdev Singh, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Rajiv Arun Ekka, Secretary to Chief Minister Vinay Kumar Choubey, Food Supplies and Public Distribution and Consumer Affairs Department Secretary Himani Pandey, Transport Secretary KKson and other officials were present in the meeting. .

The Chief Minister said that a poor family should be given a subsidy of Rs.25 per liter and a maximum of Rs.250 per liter on purchase of petrol up to a maximum of 10 liters per month. For the successful operation of this scheme, the Chief Minister has directed the officials to make a better action plan and implement it at the time.
