Nashik Road: Central Railway will be blocked for 24 hours between Kalwa and Diva for the fifth and sixth route between Thane-Diva. The Up and Down Dhimen Marg will be blocked from 2 pm on Sunday 2nd January to the morning of Monday 3rd January. This will cause trouble to the residents of Nashik as all three trains namely Panchavati Express, Rajyarani and Nandigram have been cancelled.

Meanwhile, the ongoing ST strike and canceled trains will have an impact on the passengers. Hubli-Dadar Express running on January 1 will be terminated at Pune. Dadar-Hubli Express running on January 2 will run from Pune instead of Dadar. The Kolhapur-Mumbai Koyna Express running on January 1 will terminate at Pune. The Mumbai-Kolhapur Koyna Express running on January 2 will run from Pune instead of Mumbai. Suburban services will not be available at Kalwa, Mumbra, Kopar and Thakurli stations during the block period. Passengers traveling from Kalwa, Mumbra, Kopar and Thakurli stations are allowed to board trains from Thane, Diva, Dombivli and Kalyan respectively. Local services departing/terminating Dombivli will not be available during the entire block period. During the block period, slow trains will halt on the fast lane at Thane, Dombivli and Diva stations.
