A girl has appeared in court docket accused of trying to homicide two youngsters in a suspected poisoning.
Jilumol George, 38, was arrested after emergency companies have been referred to as to a home in Uckfield, East Sussex, at 6.30am on Thursday over “welfare concerns”.
Police mentioned two youngsters, aged 9 and 13, and a 38-year-old lady have been taken to hospital for therapy.
George, of Hunters Way, Uckfield, was charged with two counts of tried homicide and two counts of administering poison with intent to hazard life or inflict grievous bodily hurt.
She appeared at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on Saturday and was remanded in custody to seem at a crown court docket on 8 March.

Sussex Police Chief Inspector Mark Evans mentioned: “I want to reassure the local community that this is an isolated incident and we are not looking for anyone else in connection with it.
“This is a fast-moving investigation and there will probably be an elevated police presence within the space over the following few days, nonetheless, I’m glad there isn’t a wider threat to the general public.”
