A 104-year-old daredevil ditched her strolling body for a parachute as she tried to interrupt the report because the world’s oldest skydiver.
Dorothy Hoffner, from Chicago, made a tandem soar from 13,500 toes (4,114m) in northern Illinois on Sunday.
Having accomplished her first skydive when she was 100, Ms Hoffner took to the skies as soon as extra after being helped to the small airplane – a Skyvan – becoming a member of different jumpers inside.
She was seeking to beat the Guinness World Record for the oldest skydiver set final May by 103-year-old Linnea Ingegard Larsson from Sweden.
Keen to get began, after taking her seat on the plane she mentioned: “Let’s go, let’s go, Geronimo!”
After her first skydive, Ms Hoffner mentioned she needed to be pushed out of the plane.
But this time spherical she insisted on main the soar.
Harnessed to a parachute teacher, the centenarian was mentioned to be calm and assured because the airplane door opened.
Shuffling to the sting, Ms Hoffner leapt out of the airplane head first, carried out a ahead roll within the sky, and ended up flying in freefall, torso going through the bottom.
After seven minutes, the touchdown was achieved.
Ms Hoffman instructed the cheering crowd which greeted her on touchdown at Skydive Chicago within the Ottawa area that “age is just a number”.
As she was reunited together with her walker, she mentioned it was “wonderful” to be again on the bottom.
Ms Hoffner added: “But it was wonderful up there. The whole thing was delightful, wonderful, couldn’t have been better.”

After her soar, the thrillseeker, who turns 105 in December, mentioned she might experience in a hot-air balloon subsequent.
“I’ve never been in one of those,” the lifelong Chicago resident mentioned.
Skydive Chicago is working to have Guinness World Records certify Ms Hoffner’s soar as a report, an area TV station reported.
