A 63-year-old girl has been arrested after individuals turned sick from chocolate purchased at a market stall.
Police investigated stories of individuals feeling unwell after consuming chocolate bought at Mansfield market in Nottinghamshire.
A lady was arrested “on suspicion of administering a noxious substance” and was serving to police with their inquiries, Nottinghamshire Police.
In response to rumours the chocolate had been “laced with drugs”, the drive stated assessments have been being carried out.
“At present there is no evidence to support claims that the chocolate bars contained any illicit drugs,” Detective Inspector Luke Todd stated.
The chocolate bars have been reportedly offered in orange Cali-Gold packing containers and golden wrappers at Mansfield market on Saturday.
Police urged anybody who had purchased the chocolate, however not eaten it, to contact them.

Dr Kakoli Choudhury, from the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA), stated anybody who had eaten the chocolate and developed signs ought to name 111 or their GP.
“The small number of people who became unwell have fully recovered,” he stated.
“Investigations are ongoing about what may have caused the illness.”
The Food Standards Agency (FSA) is investigating whether or not the chocolate was offered wherever else.
Tina Potter, head of incidents, stated the company was working alongside police and the UKHSA and native authorities.
