A 30-year-old girl has been arrested on suspicion of homicide following a deadly stabbing in Enfield, north London.
It comes after a 66-year-old man was discovered critically injured within the communal space of a block of flats in Lockhart Close.
Police had been known as to the scene simply after 7.20pm on Friday.
Despite the efforts of emergency companies, he was pronounced lifeless on the scene.
The man has not been formally recognized however officers consider they know who he’s and his subsequent of kin have been knowledgeable.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police stated the person died after receiving “stab injuries”.
They added: “A significant number of enquiries have been carried out over the weekend, including house-to-house checks and a forensic examination of the scene.”

The girl was arrested on Sunday and is presently in custody at a north London police station, the power stated.
