A 22-year-old girl who died on Christmas Day after falling off a quad bike two days earlier has been named by police.
Grace Vater – referred to as Gracie – is believed to have fallen off a motorbike which overturned in Whitehouse Lane, Shipton Moyne, Gloucestershire, simply after 2pm on Saturday.
She was taken by air ambulance to hospital the place she died two days later.
Her household have described her loss as “devastating” and mentioned she was “loved by everyone who met her”.
Detectives have mentioned a person is believed to have left the scene on a quad bike.
Two males from the Cotswolds, aged 29 and 30, had been arrested in reference to the incident and have been bailed, pending additional inquiries, till February.
In a tribute issued via police, Grace’s household mentioned: “We as a household are completely devastated to have misplaced our lovely darling Gracie.
“A treasured and much-loved daughter, sister, granddaughter and aunty.
“She was probably the most variety, caring and delightful soul inside and outside, and would assist anyone that wanted her assist. She was cherished by everybody who met her.
“A country girl with the biggest heart and a huge love for animals, especially dogs, pigs and cows.
“Our lives won’t ever be the identical with out her, however we take consolation in realizing that Gracie is together with her beloved dad.
“We ask that all of Gracie’s family are given privacy during this horrific time.”
Gloucestershire Constabulary have appealed for anybody who witnessed the incident or noticed the quad bike being ridden beforehand to get involved.
