Police are trying to find a younger woman, believed to be aged round six, who knocked on the entrance door of a property and stated she was misplaced earlier than working away.
The unidentified baby was final seen alone within the Hele space of Torquay at about 11am on Wednesday.
She is described as a white feminine with lengthy blonde hair tied up in pigtails, being of thin construct, and was carrying a black coat.

“We are still keen to identify the girl and check on her safety and welfare, our enquiries will continue today and I would encourage people to keep reporting any relevant information to us.”
