Rick Astley has been pipped to the highest spot within the UK album charts by a Welsh singer-songwriter.
Astley had been in a tussle with Ren all week for primary.
Ren, whose full title is Ren Gill, was born in Bangor, Gwynedd, and raised on the isle of Anglesey in North Wales.
He is at the moment present process therapy in Canada for persistent sicknesses together with lyme illness and mind harm.
Sick Boi is his second album, however his first within the UK prime 10 and his first to even make it into the official album charts.
In his independently-released album, Ren explores his bodily and psychological well being.

In the tip, Ren received the battle for primary by round 6,000 models.
In a submit on Facebook forward of his win, Ren mentioned he was in “one of the most surreal situations”.
“I always had very tempered expectations releasing a record while going through medical treatment,” he mentioned.
“I never expected to be in the charts let alone contending for a number one spot in the UK.

Martin Talbot, chief executive of the Official Charts said Ren’s number one album was “unbelievable information, each for Welsh music and for the impartial music scene”.
He follows within the footsteps of different Welsh artists to have secured a primary album, together with Sir Tom Jones, Bonnie Tyler, Shakin’ Stevens and Duffy.
