SNP deputy Westminster chief Mhairi Black has backed Humza Yousaf within the race to switch Nicola Sturgeon as Scottish First Minister.
Ms Black mentioned Mr Yousaf was the one candidate that will take “our party and our country forward”.
Mr Yousaf, the present Scottish well being secretary, faces competitors for the highest job from Finance Secretary Kate Forbes and former group security minister Ash Regan.
Paisley and Renfrewshire MP Ms Black endorsed Mr Yousaf after describing how she was “incredibly hurt” by Ms Forbes’ remarks on homosexual marriage.

Mr Yousaf met supporters on the V&A Waterfront in Dundee on Saturday because the management contest continues.
