Passengers on a British Airways flight had been handled to KFC after the airline was unable to offer prospects with common in-flight meals.
British Airways (BA) cabin crew dished out the fried rooster straight from the Colonel’s bucket to hungry travellers on a long-haul flight from the Caribbean to the UK.
The 12-and-a-half hour flight from the Turks and Caicos Islands confronted some points with its regular meal service over the weekend so resorted to the weird different, with there being restricted meal choices on the airport.
Footage confirmed BA workers with tongs and buckets of the quick meals delicacy as they labored the aisles of the plane – nonetheless, not everybody was happy with the parts.
Passenger Andrew Bailey tweeted that BA had been “giving some lucky passengers one piece of chicken”.

Not everybody was so harsh although, with some praising the crew’s efforts.
One stated: “Kudos to the crew. They did what they could do to serve their customers.”
In a light-hearted assertion, BA stated: “Our teams sprung into action and made sure our customers had something to eat.
“We apologise to prospects that their full meal service was not accessible and we needed to wing it on this event.
“We’re sorry if we ruffled any feathers.”
After the flight landed, passengers had been supplied with a refreshment voucher.
Long-haul BA meals typically encompass a starter, fundamental course and a dessert, with snacks and a second meal on longer flights.
