Two girls have died following a five-vehicle collision on the M4.
Emergency companies have been referred to as to the eastbound carriageway between junction 17 for Chippenham and junction 18 for Bath at about 9.10am on Friday.
Four vehicles and an HGV have been concerned within the pile-up, and two girls who have been travelling in one of many autos have been pronounced useless on the scene.
Wiltshire Police mentioned specialist officers have knowledgeable their subsequent of kin.

Acting Inspector Will Ayres, of Wiltshire’s roads policing unit, mentioned: “Due to the seriousness of the collision and the autos concerned, the restoration work and investigation on the scene is prone to take a big time and due to this fact the eastbound facet of the motorway will stay closed nicely in to this night.
“We have opened one lane of the westbound carriageway, however there are currently a number of emergency service vehicles still occupying that carriageway. Once these are cleared we will fully reopen this side of the motorway.”
