Two South Korean miners rescued after being trapped underground for 9 days say they lived on instantaneous espresso and water falling from the ceiling of a collapsed shaft.
The two males, aged 62 and 56, had been pulled to security on Friday night time at a zinc mine within the city of Bonghwa.
They had been stranded there after a heap of earth fell and blocked the shaft entrance about 190 metres (620ft) beneath the floor on 26 October.
Bang Jong-hyo, a health care provider who handled the miners in hospital, mentioned they had been each in pretty good situation although they initially mentioned they had been struggling hypothermia and muscle pains.
He added that the pair had been anticipated to be launched inside days.
The two miners shared 30 sticks of instantaneous espresso, drank water working contained in the shaft and made a fireplace to outlive whereas trapped underground.
