TV and radio presenter Annabel Giles has died – 4 months after being recognized with a mind tumour, her kids have mentioned.
The 64-year-old offered the ITV vogue present Posh Frocks And New Trousers within the Nineties and appeared on Have I Got News For You and I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!
She was beforehand married to the musician and document producer Midge Ure, with whom she had a daughter named Molly. She later cut up from Ure and had a second little one named Tedd.
The kids have paid tribute to their “incredible mother” who was “truly one of a kind” in a press release on Instagram.
They added that she died at Martlets Hospice in Hove on Monday.
It reads: “In July, Mum was diagnosed with a stage 4 Glioblastoma, a fast-growing and highly aggressive malignant brain tumour.
“In the 4 months that adopted, she displayed outstanding resilience and power, regardless of present process mind surgical procedure and numerous radiotherapies.
“In her final weeks, she was passionate about raising awareness for Glioblastoma, embodying her lifelong commitment to helping others.”
They additionally described their mom as “an enigma to those privileged to share her life”.
Their assertion provides: “True to her nature, she kept spirits high and maintained her quick wit until the very end. Her humour and laughter will leave us inspired to live life to the fullest, just as she always did.”
Giles appeared on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! in 2013 however grew to become the primary well-known face to depart the jungle.
