Tropical climate will hit the UK within the coming days with “muggy” situations bringing a combination of 29C (84.2F) warmth and rain from Monday.
Forecasters say heavy showers from the Atlantic are set to hit elements of the nation over the weekend, whereas southern and japanese areas shall be scorching and humid.
Thunderstorms could rumble earlier than temperatures push into the excessive 20s from Monday.
Met Office forecaster Tom Morgan stated “the main theme over the coming days will be wet weather, in stark contrast to the rest of July.
“Many areas shall be very heat and humid with loads of cloud round, even in a single day, with temperatures as excessive as 20C within the early hours, which means uncomfortable evenings for sleeping are in retailer.”
He added that will probably be “pretty muggy and humid, typical of conditions seen in tropical countries”.
“Temperatures could climb as high as 29C during the day in southern areas, but it’s going to feel uncomfortable and clammy”.
He stated “moist” air will push in from the south-west within the Atlantic, the place sea temperatures are above common.

Mr Morgan stated round 30-40mm of rain may fall over Monday and Tuesday in northern, central and western areas.
But he added that the rain won’t be “too disruptive” and “useful for farmers and gardeners”.
Mr Morgan went on to say that will probably be a “week of two halves”, with more energizing and drier climate from Wednesday.
He added: “The rain will clear and a less messy picture will start to emerge, with conditions calmer and temperatures in the low 20s.”
The muggy situations comply with an intense heatwave seen in latest weeks with temperatures topping 40C (104F) in some elements of the UK.
