Russia has claimed it has shot down and intercepted a number of Ukrainian drones over Moscow in what it described as a “terrorist attack”.
Four of the drones had been destroyed by air defences and the fifth was intercepted and fell, the Russian defence ministry mentioned in a press release.
There had been no casualties or harm as results of the “terrorist attack”, it mentioned.

At least three drones had been intercepted within the skies over the Moscow area – together with two simply 30km (19 miles) southwest of the Kremlin.
One drone was detected within the neighbouring area of Kaluga, and one other was shot down within the city of Kubinka, in line with Russian new company RIA.
A lot of outbound and incoming flights had been disrupted at Moscow’s Vnukovo airport, information businesses reported.
