A Glasgow nightclub has postponed plenty of occasions following the demise of a teen who attended a New Year social gathering on the venue.
The 18-year-old lady died in hospital after falling unwell at SWG3 on 2 January.
Police Scotland stated officers are taking a look at medication as one line of inquiry.
The lady is the third teenager to have died after an occasion at SWG3 previously few months.
A spokesperson for SWG3 advised Sky News: “Whilst the venue already meets or exceeds all relevant safety and security regulations, we have taken a decision to postpone a number of events during January while we carry out a detailed review of systems and procedures.”
In August, Scott Allison and Marcus Dick, each 18, collapsed and died after attending the identical occasion the place DJ Ben Hemsley was headlining.
Their deaths, which weren’t believed to be related, have been handled as drug-related.
In a Facebook put up, SWG3 said it was “truly devastated” over the girl’s “tragic death”.

Police Scotland stated its investigation to determine the complete circumstances of the girl’s demise is ongoing.
A drive spokesperson stated: “We were made aware on Friday 5 January 2024 that a woman had become unwell at a premises on Eastvale Place, Glasgow, on Tuesday 2 January.
“An 18-year-old was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, the place she was later pronounced useless.
“Next of kin have been informed and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
